Andrea Orabona

Andrea Orabona

Graduated from the School of Law of the State University of Siena with a dissertation on white-collar crimes entitled “False Accounting: False Corporate Communication Crimes Following the Legislative Decree Reforming Criminal Corporate Law”.

In 2008 he was admitted to the Bar of Milan and currently is qualified to represent clients before the Supreme Court of Rome and European Union.

Throughout his studies and career, he has been specializing in criminal substantive and procedural law, acquiring concentration on issues concerning the defense of the accused and of parties filing civil claims within criminal proceedings in connection with crimes against property, safety at work, white collar crimes, bankruptcy and tax-related crimes, building and environmental crimes.

Presently he mainly deals with criminal corporate, tax and bankruptcy law; crimes against property and the public administration; professionals’ and entrepreneurs’ criminal liability; indictments in connection with environment protection and safety at work; and corporate entities’ liability for administrative offences ensuing from crimes under Legislative Decree 231/2001.

He has been retained by major international insurance companies to represent criminal or civil defendants committed for trial or summoned to court within criminal actions regarding crimes of an exclusively negligent character.

In addition, he is the author of articles and contributions on criminal, corporate, financial, and tax-related matters, published in newspapers and Internet reviews, namely: Milano & Finanza, Finanza & Mercati, Diritto24, Invice, Rivista 231, Il Tributo, Azienda Banca, Le Fonti-Legal, Requadro e Giurisprudenza Penale.

A scholar in criminal, both substantive and procedural, law matters, he has participated, either as a speaker or as a moderator, in conferences and round tables discussing tax-related crimes under Legislative Decree 74/2000, administrative liability ensuing from crimes under Legislative Decree 231/2001, industrial accidents and safety at work pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008, food counterfeiting and customs-related crimes, with particular reference to dual-use goods export to foreign countries.

He was appointed as Treasurer of the Association Agam, as well as a member of the Commission for the Exam for Lawyers at Bar of Milan.

He boasts prestigious collaboration as of counsel by international law firms to ensure legal protection also to groups of foreign companies.

Recently, he has obtained post-graduate qualification as Specialized Criminal Lawyer from the Union of Italian Criminal Chambers (UCPI).

Alessandra Capalbo

Graduated from the School of Law of the State University of Milan, in 2002 he was admitted to the Bar of Milan and currently is qualified to represent clients before the Supreme Court of Rome and European Union.

She has been specializing in criminal substantive and procedural law, acquiring concentration on issues concerning the defense of the accused and of parties filing civil claims within criminal proceedings in connection with tax-related crimes and bankruptcy, computer crimes and defamation through the press or the web, medical doctors’ and healthcare establishments’ professional liability, crimes against corruption of public administration.

She participate, as a speaker, in conferences and round tables discussing administrative liability ensuing from crimes under Legislative Decree 231/2001 and medical doctors’professional liability.

Giulia Piva

Giulia Piva

Graduated in law from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan with a penal/criminological dissertation entitled “General Negative Prevention: Theoretical Bases and New Perspectives”.

In 2018 she was admitted to the Bar of Milan. In the course of her university studies and professional practice she has had the opportunity to deepen her knowledge of criminal substantive and procedural law issues, gaining considerable experience by assisting clients in proceedings concerning crimes against property, protection of the environment and safety at work pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008, and white collar crimes.

She was appointed as Counselor of the Association Agam and, currently, she mainly provides legal assistance, both in and out of court, to individuals and corporate entities on criminal law issues involving tax-related, financial and corporate aspects.

She also is the author of numerous publications on corporate crime law appearing in papers and online reviews, namely: “Economia & Diritto”, “Invice”, “Giurisprudenza Penale” and “Azienda Banca”.
